Birthday Loot!

Since we're doing an analysis of Shakespeare in Love in class, I decided to just buy the movie because I love it so much! As a result, I also bought a few birthday gifts for myself. I got them last week, and that includes the last two Brightest Day trades (yeah, I'm slow). Most of it was movies, though.

That includes Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (I had to hold off on All-Star Superman until I can get it from Deep Discount) and Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam (too bad I was spoiled by Rob Lowe's Captain Marvel first, since I think I prefer him to Jerry O'Connell).

I also got the Secrets of Mary Magdalene, a DVD doc I worked on for an internship a long, long time ago.

PLUS I finally broke down and got Kid's Ten Commandments. I don't plan on owning it, I'm going to donate it to my friend's church, but I wanted to watch it because of the "Stolen Hearts, Stolen Jewels" episode where Jodi Benson sings a duet with John Schneider. George Newbern is in it too, so that's pretty cool.

Lastly but not leastly, I got Thumbelina, the Don Bluth film. I'd never seen it, but Jodi Benson stars in that too as Thumbelina, and sings a duet with Gary Imhoff, who plays the fairy prince Cornelius. Wait a minute, Gary Imhoff?!
