Hercules

Back From VA

Hello, folks! I had a good Christmas this year. My father and I drove down to my mother's house in Virginia on Saturday. On Sunday, we went to church, and my mom read a passage during the service (which was a little long for my tastes with all the singing). After that, we got my sister at the airport.

I like being able to just relax, although I didn't really sleep in too much. My father wanted to run, so my sister and I joined him Monday and Tuesday morning. The weather was great, and where my mom lives is so flat, it's perfect. I hadn't run in about three weeks.

So aside from running, I also enjoyed my mom's cooking, and just hanging out and watching some Arrested Development (which my sister hadn't seen before). The four of us went to see Charlie Wilson's War (which may actually be the first movie all four of us saw in the theatres together). I also liked seeing my grandmother and my dog. I actually wrote my grandmother a story for Christmas.

Christmas itself was great. I'll list my presents later. I think everyone was happy with what they got. I was also happy to be able to watch A Christmas Story, which is one of my favorite movies of all-time.

My father and I drove back on Wednesday. The traffic in New Jersey was terrible all the way back to Brooklyn, but I made it. I've got LOTS of stuff to catch up with before the New Year, so updates and summaries and lists are on their way!
