2005's Accomplishments

I know it's taken me long enough, but I'm finally looking back on the year 2005. I graduated college in 2004, so 2005 was my first full year out of school. It had its ups and downs. I worked a couple internships, and I found myself in a temp job. I was able to financially keep my head above water, but at the same time, I'm still searching for what I really want to do. Anyway, here are my top ten most notable accomplishments in 2005:

10) I watched a bunch of Star Trek and beat Kingdom Hearts. I'm a geek!

9) I managed to pay my loan every month despite not having lot of money

8) Re-claiming a ton of comics I couldn't get before because I was unemployed

7) Spending a lot of time in the field I want to work in, even if it was unpaid internships. I improved my resume.

6) Owning every episode of Buffy and Angel on DVD.

5) Made some successful dishes and improved my cooking skills.

4) Getting my iPod and putting all my songs on it. Running is so much cooler and fun now.

3) I completed a pitch and a script for a comic book that I submitted to Dark Horse.

2) I worked a 9-5 (well, more like 8-4:30) job and, while my dad was in Ireland over the summer, I took care of myself (not like I didn't before in college, but this was more...real worldy)

1) Being credited as production assistant on It Takes A Thief.

So there's my year!
